50 years of CIDCA

On February 10, 2023 the Food Cryotechnology Research and Development Center - CIDCA turned 50, in honor of this anniversary there will be different activities to celebrate it.

"Commemorative Act"  at CONICET La Plata

In March 2023, the commemorative act for the 50 years of CIDCA, CINDECA and CINDEFI, three research centers that were born together, took place at the CONICET La Plata headquarters.

Present at the event were the directors of the three centers, Dr. Andrea Gómez-Zavaglia from CIDCA, Dr. Mónica Casella from CINDECA and Dr. Sebastian Cavalitto from CINDEFI (photo by CONICET La Plata), and authorities from CONICET, the Commission for Investigations Scientists from the province of Buenos Aires, the National University of La Plata and the Faculties of Exact Sciences and Engineering of the UNLP, among other prominent personalities.

"Open Day to the Community"

CIDCA opened its doors to celebrate its first 50 years of work. The people who attended to learn about our work took a new and different look at food and had the opportunity to tour part of the facilities and learn about research carried out during these five decades.

There were interactive exhibits, live demonstrations, and engaging activities for people of all ages.

"Scientific Conference 50 years of CIDCA"
